A Holiday Tree in Your Front Yard

 Welcome Willow Glen Neighbors!

In 1950, a Willow Glen holiday tradition of placing a lighted tree in every front yard began and 73 years later, Willow Glen Holidays continues this tradition. Historically, each tree is placed 10 feet from the sidewalk with one white light at the top and large, multi-colored lights throughout. However, you are welcome to decorate your tree to your liking!

Many streets in Willow Glen participate. However, we supply trees only to the following streets:

Arbor
Blewett
Broadway
Buchser

Chabrant
Cottle (Curtner to Husted)
Creek
Curtiss

Vernon/Milton
Warren
Xmas Tree Lane (Palo Alto)

Harmil
Kotenberg/Longley
San Andreas (Cambrian)
Settle

If you live on one of these streets and are unsure who your Block Captain is, or you would like to be a Block Captain to add your street, please email us at wgholidaytrees@gmail.com.

How it works:

• Each street has a “Block Captain” who will be accepting all orders for their block. Order forms will be distributed in mid-October.

• Trees are 4’-5’ Douglas firs and cost $28 per tree.

• Rebar is available as well, for $7 – this helps secure your tree to your lawn and can be re-used every year.

• Trees will be delivered in early December. Your Block Captain will let you know exact time and place to pick up your tree.

• Orders are returned to Block Captains in early November. To keep the process simple, orders will only be accepted through Block Captains.
